音楽と言語の対応は，古くから議論されている重要なテーマである．言語の韻律に高低の特徴を持つ声調言語や高低アクセント言語の地域において，旋律の音程変化が言語の韻律的特徴を反映することが報告されている．日本においても，多様なジャンルの楽曲において，旋律と言語のアクセントの対応が指摘されている．しかし，日本民謡は地域の歴史や文化に深く根ざしており，言語をはじめとした文化的背景の影響が指摘されているにもかかわらず，旋律とアクセントの対応は十分に検証されていない．この対応関係を検証するためには，日本民謡の旋律情報だけでなく，歌詞に付随するアクセント情報も必要となる．本データは，京都府民謡の歌詞に対して付与した京都方言のアクセント情報を整理したものであり，日本民謡における旋律と言語の対応関係を明らかにするための一助となりうる． また，東京方言を除く各方言については，語ごとの具体的なアクセントが辞書的に明示された資源が限られている．本データは，京都府民謡の歌詞に現れる語に対して付与された京都方言のアクセント情報を体系的に整理したものであり，地域方言におけるアクセント構造を実例に基づいて検討するための基礎資料を提供する．方言研究においては，辞書的記述が乏しい語や表現について，実際の歌唱資料に基づくアクセントの実態を参照することが可能となる．また，教育場面においては，国語科や音楽科における方言学習や地域文化理解の教材として，具体的なアクセント例を示しながら活用することができる． さらに，本データはLinked Open Data（LOD）として構造化されており，地理情報や統計データ，教科書LOD，学習指導要領LOD，Wikidata 等の既存LODとリンクすることが可能である．これにより，民謡の歌詞アクセント情報を，地域や文化資源，教育資料と横断的に結びつけた再利用が促進され，日本民謡および方言研究のためのオープンなデータ基盤としての発展が期待される．
